However, many production processes will benefit from having the right and more expensive hot melt adhesive providing 0,00% failures, even in challenging environments such as deep freeze and tropical surroundings, and with coated and laminated substrates.

Standard EVA adhesives are light yellow hot melts providing a medium to long open time and fast setting, needing low compression times of approximately 1 second. EVA hot melt adhesives are commonly used for bonding corrugated and wrap around boxes, printed folding cartons, food trays and for the production of paper bags. Polyolefin hot melt adhesives
Polyolefin hot melt adhesive tend to be more expensive in pricing per KG, but, the density is lower, so the first saving is based on more volume for the same price. Above that, Polyolefin hot melts in general provide a stronger bond, and therefor adhesive consumption reduction. Most Polyolefin hot melts are very thermal stable, which lengthens the life expectancy of hot melt gluing equipment and reduces maintenance costs and downtime.
