Polyurethane hot melt usually does create a stronger bond than other hot melt adhesives like EVA and PO. PUR hot melt forms a stronger initial bond as the adhesive reacts with moisture in the air. This chemical process is known as cross-linking. This crosslinking proces increases the bond strength to the substrates (Adhesion) and of the glue internally (Cohesion).
