PVA, or poly vinyal alcohol glues, are waterbased adhesives. Other than PVAC (poly vinyl Acetate) it is a solution to bond porous substrates like textiles and paper fibres. Drying of PVA glues takes generally longer than drying of PVAC glues. For DIY purposes, in most cases PVAC glue is in favour to use. PVA is mostly knowin in the industry as PVOH glue.
